Why Mez Day Care?

Mez Day Care offers a very different experience for your child in a smaller group home setting. While there are some similarities between family day care and centre-based care, Mez Day Care offers an inviting, personalised experience that best fits children’s personality and interests. We follow child care trends, but also choose to shine a light on our unique pathway, which includes the latest research and best practices when it comes to Early Childhood Education. Our day care sizes are limited to seven children maximum at a time (4 non-school and 3 school-age), and our Educators get to build strong bonds with children and their families, rather than them being a number or a face in the crowd – because at the end of the day, we want smiling children and smiling parents.

At Mez, we cater for ages 0 through to 12 years of age. This provides children with an opportunity to socialise with other kids of a similar age and develop friendships, which is great for their development.

Depending on our Educator’s availability, our day care hours can be 24/7.

Initially, we will ask that you provide meals for your child. However, we have plans to introduce meals in the near future, including fresh, healthy options to keep your kids happy and energised.

Yes, we provide all required nappies for your child.

As we have new family day cares opening all the time, it’s best to get in touch with our friendly team.

The best way to enrol your child in one of our holistic day cares is to Contact Us to arrange a visit to a Mez Day Care location, meet one of our lovely Educators and start the process.

Our price is $12 per hour per child weekdays, weekends and overnight. For public holidays, our rates change to $24 per hour per child.

Yes, as per the Family Assistance Law, families need to pay for any booked hours.

Mez Day Care is an accredited service provider currently completing the final steps to be approved to administer the Child Care Subsidy (CCS) on behalf of families, in accordance with the Family Assistance Law. CCS helps you with the cost of child care fees. Contact Services Australia to find out if you are eligible.

Essential items such as spare clothes and training pants, a labelled water bottle, healthy meals and snacks, and any necessary medications or comfort items. Nappies, wipes, hats and sunscreen are provided by Mez Day Care.

Our Educators are highly trained to support children with additional needs. We are actively collaborating with government agencies, peak bodies and community support groups to help children and families with additional needs. During the enrolment process, families are asked to provide all necessary information so that Educators can give the best possible support to children with additional needs.
