Why Mez Day Care?

Mez Day Care offers a very different experience for your child in a smaller group home setting. While there are some similarities between family day care and centre-based care, Mez Day Care offers an inviting, personalised experience that best fits children’s personality and interests. We follow child care trends, but also choose to shine a light on our unique pathway, which includes the latest research and best practices when it comes to Early Childhood Education. Our day care sizes are limited to seven children maximum at a time (4 non-school and 3 school-age), and our Educators get to build strong bonds with children and their families, rather than them being a number or a face in the crowd – because at the end of the day, we want smiling children and smiling parents.

At Mez, we cater for ages 0 through to 12 years of age. This provides children with an opportunity to socialise with other kids of a similar age and develop friendships, which is great for their development.

Depending on our Educator’s availability, our day care hours can be 24/7.

To help our Educators dedicate their full attention to your wonderful children, we kindly ask families to provide healthy meals and drinks for their little ones each day.

Please check with your individual Educator to see if they provide nappies or if you should pack them for your child’s day.

With new family day care Educators joining our network, it’s best to get in touch with our friendly team.

The best way to enrol your child in one of our holistic day cares is to Contact Us to arrange a visit to a Mez Day Care location, meet one of our lovely Educators and start the process.

We invite you to chat with your Educator about their Fee Schedule during your Meet and Greet, it’s a great time to ask any questions you might have!

For permanent bookings, fees apply to all scheduled hours to ensure your child’s place is secured.

Essential items such as spare clothes and training pants, a labelled water bottle, healthy meals and snacks, and any necessary medications or comfort items. During your Meet and Greet, feel free to ask your Educator whether they provide essentials like nappies, wipes, hats, and sunscreen, or if you should pack those along for your child.

Our Educators are highly trained to support children with additional needs. We are actively collaborating with government agencies, peak bodies and community support groups to help children and families with additional needs. During the enrolment process, families are asked to provide all necessary information so that Educators can give the best possible support to children with additional needs.
