At Mez, your child’s future is looking bright!

Hi, we are Mez Day Care! We provide an adaptive learning program for your children that best suits the way they learn and grow – meaning that we don’t use a cookie cutter approach to your child’s development. Focusing on small day care sizes of seven children at a time per location (4 non-school and 3 school-age), our passionate Educators are ready to guide your child through the crucial early years of their lives, supporting community and family along the way.

Children are at the centre of our universe at Mez – our story is as simple as that! Founded on our core values of nurturing children and creating lasting memories, Mez Day Care believes that every child deserves an opportunity to learn, grow and flourish in a safe and nurturing environment.

Founded by passionate child care Educator Mary Hobbes, Mez aims to provide an exceptional level of care in a warm, loving place where children feel appreciated and connected to their carers. Mary was quick to recognise that children became quite sensitive when their favourite carer at a centre became burnt out and left – and wanting to change this, Mary established Mez Day Care.

We also strive to serve the community by providing something unique: a personalised early childhood experience that larger child care centres aren’t achieving. At Mez, your child won’t be lost in the crowd, and instead will be encouraged to shine.

Under Mary’s guidance, our dedicated team of professional Early Childhood Educators are ready to welcome your child, bringing their expertise, creativity, and genuine love for children each and every day. They embrace each child’s unique qualities, interests and needs, fostering an atmosphere of acceptance, respect, and encouragement.

Mary Hobbes

Founder and CEO

Mary is the Founder and CEO of Mez Day Care and aspires to excel as a business owner of a renowned Education and Care Service in the community. She is honoured to be a part of a critical and rewarding industry and her goal is to continue to innovate and lead the way in Early Childhood Education. Mary is deeply passionate about providing children with the best possible start in life. She has spent years of empowering young minds and nurturing children’s growth and development as an Educator. With a firm belief in the power of Education, she is committed to creating a Service that provides a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment for children to learn and thrive.

Mary’s qualifications include a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, Certificate III in Business and a Bachelor’s Degree in Management Accounting. Her passion for business and her unwavering dedication to serving the community drives her endeavours.
